SMALL ART FAIR NO.2

On 29, 30 and 31 May, the Small Art Fair No.2 will take place at the Creative Factory Veldze, Matīsa iela 8. Four galleries - Gallery ASNI, Gallery 427, TUR Telpa and arterritory.com's nomad-gallery energART - will offer artworks for sale and purchase.

This initiative, which first came to life at the beginning of December 2024, was created with the aim of emphasising the importance of art in everyone's well-being, highlighting the status of the artwork as a developer of creativity, drawing attention to Latvian art processes and, at the same time, promoting art collecting and the presence of art originals in everyone's living space. It also dispels the myth of the exclusivity of art and its financial inaccessibility.

The project is underpinned by the desire of the fair participants/galleries to emphasise the role of cooperation, conversation, mutual trust and a common strategy in achieving common goals and activating the art process.

The Small Art Fair will not only take place in the Boiler House Hall, but will also extend its territory by exhibiting artworks in the open office of the Creative Factory Veldze.
