On 26 May, from 17:00 to 21:00, Riga opens the doors to its artists’ studios. Artists' Open Studio Tuesday invites you to step behind the scenes and visit working artists in their own spaces. Across the city, participating artists will welcome visitors and share about their work in the most personal setting there is. For anyone curious about the city's creative life, it's a chance to wander into studios you hadn't notice before, meet artists in their own working environments and leave knowing a little more about who's making art in your city today. One of the first initiatives of its kind in Latvia, Artists' Open Studio Tuesday is part of Riga Art Week 2026.
FOLLOW.ART is a non-algorithmic infrastructure for curators and artists, bringing together 2,500 members from 100+ countries. At its core is the Card: the multifunctional portfolio for curators and artists for centralizing their practice & getting financial support from the audience, designed for real-life use at exhibitions and other on-site settings where professional connections begin. While international in scope, FOLLOW.ART is rooted in Latvia. The team maintains a close connection to the local art scene and actively works to bring new formats and opportunities into the local art ecosystem.
