In the upper right corner of your inbox, there is a tiny red box with the number one inside, indicating one new message. The red number, which has rarely been associated with anything good since school, has now become a messenger. You open the letter and glance over the content, at the end of it you find yourself at the penultimate line – wishing you a nice day and wondering if a senders’ template is configured in the email settings, or a genuine wish. They say that if the first butterfly you see is yellow, it will be a hot summer. If you get out of bed with the right foot in the morning, your day will be successful. If you open the Ai-generated picture sent by your mother and forward it to at least three relatives, you will be saved from misfortune. Is it possible to capture the nice day sent your way and make the formality of the email before the sender's name and surname manifest in a positive reality, avoiding toxic positivity, superstitions and other temporary solutions.

“He who has the potentiality to do something also has the potentiality not to do it.” (in the words of Giorgio Agambema). After common crossroads - graduating from the Art Academy of Latvia - the paths of these four artists have parted in different directions. However, after taking a reflective stroll around the neighbourhood, paths have intersected yet again and a subsequent art event of the union http://vide was created. In other words the second joint exhibition “Have a Nice day”, which takes place a year after “Wait! Have a slice of bread, observe and accept.” Standing under a metaphorical umbrella with a text printed on it saying  “Have a Nice Day,” we share our insights about the practice of creation and continuing the art world paths after obtaining an academic education. Our revelations are conveyed  through personal experiences - somatics, employment, returning to ephemeral spaces and lingering in boredom - as an attempt to understand whether the beauty of the day can be found, created or simply noticed.
