''Young art auction'' opening

Young art auction will highlight representatives of Latvian contemporary art, mainly painting, up to the age of 40. The exhibition of the auction works will provide an overview of the current art environment and the practices of its representatives. In the pop-up exhibition, 50 artworks will be displayed, which will be available for bidding at the auction.

About Young art auction

“The New Art Auction” is a new initiative within which auctions will be organized twice a year — in spring and autumn. Each time, an in-person exhibition will be created, starting with a pop-up exposition in Tallinn and followed by the main auction exhibition in Riga. At the culmination of the exhibition in Riga, a live (in-person) auction will take place.
